City: San Diego
Country: United States
Occupation: United States Marine
Favorite Sports Supplements: My favorites include anything by Metabolic Nutrition. The ProtiZyme protein is to die for.
Being on the cover of Status: Being on the cover of Status magazine would be a great accomplishment of mine. But more importantly, it is my goal to represent a healthy lifestyle created the right way and for others to emulate on an incredible magazine cover!
Bio: I am currently in the Marine Corps and a Figure Competitor. Fitness is a major part of being in the military and staying in shape. I am addicted to leading a healthy lifestyle and sharing my enthusiasm with other aspiring athletes. Fitness is my habitual habit, my hobby, my lifestyle, my lifelong passion. I like to be in control. I think that is why I love working out. I have control over what my body looks like.
"It's your road and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you." - Unknown
Nutrition / Supplements: I eat clean throughout the entire year. My meals remain consistent for the most part depending on how close to a competition I am. I like to keep it at 5 meals a day including a variety of lean protein, dark green leafy veggies, and a good source of carbohydrates. For supplements I stick to the basics which are my protein powder, multivitamin, glutamine powder, BCAAs, CLA and fish oil.
Training: I train every group of muscles once a week with two days off. It is very important for my body to take days of rest to do nothing to let my body recover and my muscles to grow. When I train I make sure to concentrate on my form and doing the exercise correctly each time.
What separates Status from any other fitness magazine: The first thing I notice about Status magazines compared to other fitness magazine is how it promotes a healthy lifestyle of exercise and nutrition all in a sexy classy and clean way while targeting aspiring both men and women of all ages!
