Being on the cover of Status: Would be amazing... I would love to represent Status!
Heather, a natural athlete, excelled as a gymnast and competed for 7 years and was on the High School Varsity Track and Gymnastics
team as well as was a Basketball Cheerleader. At age 17, Heather graduated High School in Denver, Colorado (one year early) following one last family move. In 1997, Heather moved to Tempe, Arizona to pursue her artistic interests, attending Graphic Design school where she attained an Associate's Degree (AA) in Visual Arts / Communication. Furthering her academic interests, she moved to Los Angeles and achieved another AA degree, this time in Fashion, at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM). While Heather was a student, she began doing some promotional modeling work to help make ends meet. After graduation from FIDM, Heather was hired as an Assistant Designer
at Guess? Corporation.
Following Guess?, Heather appeared in various publications including Stuff Magazine as well as making appearances in pageants, fashion shows and modeling for the WWE DIVA, Trashy Lingerie, and Hawaiian Tropic. Heather also did video and film work in the TV travel documentary "Get Out" as well as box cover art for the film. In 2005, Heather was one of 12 women finalists selected from hundreds of entrants to represent The Palms Resort and Casino Las Vegas as Miss Palms November.
Now a mother of a beautiful 6 year old girl, happily married wife (of 7 years!), and Hospitality Sales Representative for Maya Romanoff company, her busy life has brought renewed focus and commitment to fitness. Just like many other moms, Heather desired to get in shape and regain the body of her youthful 20s. A developing obsession (albeit a healthy one) with fitness
lead to a decision to compete in the WBFF. In her first competition in Dallas, Texas in October 2012, Heather won first place and was given her PRO card! She was astounded and grateful; it was an enormous accomplishment for her and the realization that this healthy 'obsession' had become her new way of life.
Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.
