I got into bodybuilding shows in 2014. Since I’ve done 13 shows and my love for the sport and helping women reach their fitness goals has grown. I wanted to offer women a sustainable approach for lifelong change.

What’s the most challenging situation you’ve faced as a personal trainer, and how did you overcome it?
The most difficult situations are always when a client doesn’t believe in themselves as much as I do. I put my heart into coaching.
How would you describe your training philosophy?
I always meet a client where they are. Everyone starts on a different level. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
Training Plan:
Weights 4x per week – two upper body and two lower body (glute focused)
Nutritional Plan:
I focus on hitting 2000 calories per day (currently in maintenance)
Supplement Plan:
Multi-vitamin, collagen, protein powder, omega and joint supplement. I like to focus on supplements that are good for overall health.

Do you prefer to take and recommend all natural (no sugar, no artificial colors/flavors/sweeteners) supplements or supplements with artificial flavors and sweeteners? And Why?
I don’t have a preference. I always say take what you can see yourself using for a lifetime, if you think you can cut sugar, etc, for life, great. But for most, this isn’t realistic, myself included.
If you could ask Status Fitness Magazine Editor in Chief Rodney Jang any industry question, what would that be?
Who is the most memorable athlete you’ve met and why?
What are your long-term career goals as a fitness trainer, and how do you plan to continue growing in this field?
Eventually, I’d like to hire coaches under me. My overall vision is to have a safe place for women to be themselves and reach their goals.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
Listen to your intuition. One of my biggest flaws is that I trust everyone. Through the years, I’ve learned you trust yourself first and others second.
What does success look like for you?
Being able to spend time with my kids and make money to support my family.
Your favourite quotes?
“I know what I bring to the table, so trust me when I say I’m not afraid to eat alone.”
